Additionally, he finds peace and creativity in the art of woodworking. His connection with motocross dates back to 1974, when he first attended a professional race as a spectator. This experience sparked his interest, leading him to start racing the following year. He clinched regional championships before shifting his focus to college in 1983. Presently, he harbors plans to open a motocross training facility in Tennessee. This project is designed to welcome young riders and their parents and introduce children, particularly those from financially constrained backgrounds, to the camaraderie and joy that motocross has brought into their lives.
