Karina N. Cruz Ortiz

Hi! I’m Karina, a Puerto Rican illustrator, designer, and multimedia artist currently pursuing a B.F.A. in Illustration with a concentration in Concept Art and a minor in Surface Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Rooted in my Puerto Rican heritage, I imitate nature through rhythm, color, and shape language in my work. Currently, my passion lies in creating repeat patterns and designs, particularly for stationery products such as greeting cards. My goal is to create vivid, narrative imagery that celebrates life! With experience in fine arts, graphic design, and illustrating children’s books, publications, and promotional assets, I bring versatility and adaptability to a wide range of creative styles.
