A Flat Tyre on A Highway
If you get a flat tyre while travelling on the motorway, try to get to the next exit & park your car there. If you can’t do that, veer your car to the side of the road & park as far away from the traffic as you can. Your warning flashers should be on. It is recommended to stay inside your car instead of attempting to get out and change the tyre since traffic is rapidly moving and doing so could put you in danger. Wait for the proper authorities to show up, or call for a tow truck or emergency help.
Objects on the Road

Whenever it’s safe to do so, avoid hitting any roadside debris by driving around it or stopping. These only function if you can spot the debris in time to dodge it. Whenever it is possible to do so, change lanes or drive around the debris in another way. Run over the debris if you have the choice between doing so and colliding with another car. In as much as you can, slow down and steer clear of tyre punctures. Pull over to a safe area of the road if you struck the debris, especially if you believe it may have harmed your car. Then, look over your car for any damages.
