For 37 years, Miguel has been living as an exiled gay in Spain and has become a successful conference interpreter. It is only now that he is willing to return to his native country Lebanon and confront his traumatic past, maybe he could finally find some emotional balance and love.

Eliane Raheb is a Lebanese female filmmaker. Her documentariesSo Near Yet So Far, Suicide, This is Lebanon, Sleepless Nights, Those Who Remain, have screened at many international festivals and received awards. Miguel's War is her third feature documentary. She is also a founding member of the cinema association Beirut DC where she directs festivals and holds workshops. She taught documentary courses in Saint Joseph University between 2003 and 2016.
