Fishery Experience Programs by The Fisher
The Fisher provides a series of fishery experience programs for the public to learn about the unique fisherfolk culture while having a fun travel experience. The programs contain various elements: family-friendly, interactive, leisure, educational, appetizing, historical and more. Participants can enjoy the Southern District through fisherfolk’s experiences at sea, life hacks and customs shared by the fisherfolk community.

“The Fisher” , as implied in the name, is a project that provides a platform for the fisherfolk community to lead fishery experience programs. Through sharing their life stories, these fisherfolk can unveil the mystery of the far less widely known fisherfolk culture to the participants.


Nearly 20 members of the fisherfolk community have started training in the beginning of this year. The memories they have of Aberdeen are special and personal, yet so relatable to every Hongkonger.
