T

he Octoberfest-themed Mixer held at The Rock complex in Truckee was prime time for networking with some food and drink thrown in. The spread of treats was extensive, with sausages, sauerkraut, and pastries a nod to the Bavarian festival signaling the end of summer. A cardboard photo prop got some laughs in contrast to the bean bag toss where contenders looked pretty serious. The slew of raffle prizes kept everyone around as darkness set in. Thanks to our generous sponsors for hosting this last mixer of 2014: Interior Design by Julie Johnson-Holland, NSM Corporation, Nor-Cal Floor Design, Vineyard Custom Homes, California Craftsman, and Craftsmen in Wood.
