Icurrently work in Ashworth High Secure the city. Being a Governor is a chance to It’s a privilege to be a part of that journey Hospital where we care for some of the give something back. and I have no doubt that our future together most challenging patients in the country. Now, more than at any other time, we’re is exciting. Recovery can be difficult, but despite the seeing the difference that we can not only danger they pose to themselves or others, make to the person in front of us, but how We help patients it’s amazing the progress that can be made as the team draws strengths from each other and we help patients when others may have lost hope in them, and they need our support the most. we are responsible for and can have an impact on our wider community as well. Similarly to many of the patients I see, while we currently face much adversity, it’s inspiring to see how Mersey Care is not only when others may have lost hope in them and they need our support the most. While I’m not from the city, I love Liverpool surviving but thriving as individuals across and have “grown up” in Mersey Care so to the organisation support each other and speak, working with some incredible people emerge stronger.
