In 2019, we transitioned our London studio in Clerkenwell and 110 employees to a new home at Pennington Street Warehouse in Wapping. A special place designed by us, for us.
An exemplar workplace, we created a creative, collaborative and healthy studio simultaneously improving communication and knowledge sharing, whilst also promoting healthy lifestyles and social interaction. The design evolved out of a collaborative approach, engaging with our employees in a participatory process at every step of our three year journey with workshops, surveys, workplace observations, interviews and practice wide site visits.
We are very proud to have captured our move in this book which tells of our journey and the experiences and challenges that we faced along the way. After a lot of speculation about the future of the workplace and what the future post-COVID office would look like, our experience and belief is that the creative and collaborative studio remains just as important as ever.
