John Broekman

John Broekman was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up in this environment shaped his laid-back nature and his desire to understand the world around him. He graduated from Bishop Kenny High School, where he began building the habits of involvement and curiosity that continue to guide him. After graduation, he moved to Fort Myers to attend Florida Gulf Coast University, where he pursued a degree in Business Management. While there, he joined a fraternity that introduced him to leadership and teamwork in a community setting. After completing his first year, John returned to Jacksonville and transferred to the University of North Florida. He became more active in fraternity life, assuming the third-highest leadership role and participating in numerous philanthropic efforts. These included organizing fundraisers for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and donating blood regularly through the Big Red Bus by Oneblood. He graduated in 2020 with honors, earning a 3.8 GPA. He majored in Political Science and minored in Business Management, and he was also involved in the Economics Society, which deepened his understanding of politics and economics. John's professional background spans politics, finance, and logistics. He worked on campaigns at the local, state, and national levels, including helping coordinate a rally for President Trump in Jacksonville and meeting him in person. In logistics, he transformed a $50,000 account into one generating over $500,000 at Magellan Logistics. He also worked at TEKsystems, where he was promoted just three months after starting. Outside of work, John enjoys electronic dance music and has attended more than 100 music festivals across the country since 2012. He stays active through fitness, biking, and competitive PC gaming. He also enjoys fishing and spending time by the beach with close friends. John Broekman brings a steady focus and a genuine approach to everything he does.
