ACCESS TO CASTLE/SITES
The front entrance to Kryal Castle is on Forbes Road via our main car park. Car parking for Castle Room guests is available right in front of our main entrance and moat. Parking for our Cabin, Tiny Home, and Site guests is available at your sites via the boom gates using the boom gate code provided to you. Your room key provides you 24-hour access in and out of the castle if you have castle access included in your booking.
ADVENTURE PARK
The park operates from 10 am to 4 pm on weekends, Victorian school holidays, and select public holidays.
• Castle Rooms, Cabins & Tiny Homes - Entry to the castle grounds is complimentary within your stay from the day of check-in until the day of check-out. On the days when the park is open, you have access from 10 am on the day of check-in until 4 pm on the day of check-out. If the park is closed during your stay, all of our unmanned buildings will be open for your convenience and you are welcome to roam the grounds from check-in to check-out.
• Sites - If staying in our holiday park sites, please refer to your confirmation to see if castle ground access is included with your stay. If not, please contact reception to add it to your stay.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served in the Mountain Inn Café located near the rotunda and playground. Open 7 days a week from 8 am to 10 am.
• Castle Rooms, Cabins & Tiny Homes - Continental breakfast buffet is included with your stay.
• Sites - Continental breakfast buffet can be added to your booking for an extra charge. Please speak to reception for more information.
OTHER MEALS
Our Ale House is open for meals during the castle’s park opening hours, 10 am - 3 pm. At any other time, we are just a short 10-minute drive to the centre of Ballarat.
CANDLES
Candles are a safety hazard and are not permitted in any rooms. (Note – candles will activate the fire alarm.) Guests who disregard this and cause damage to the room or property will be liable for damages, including additional cleaning costs and loss of income.
CHECK OUT
Check-out time is 10 am or earlier. A late fee may be charged after this time unless prior arrangements have been made. Please ensure you see us at reception when checking out. If leaving before 9 am, there is a key drop slot at the entry doors to reception. Please do not leave keys in your room without prior arrangement.
EMERGENCY
In case of an emergency, dial ‘000’. Please use the nearest exit in case of fire. Our evacuation point is the arena.

HAIR DRYER
Hairdryers are located in the bathroom and are the property of Kryal Castle.
HOUSEKEEPING
Castle Rooms are serviced daily. If you do not wish to have your room serviced, please slide your service sign to “Do Not Disturb”.
To help the environment, please hang up your towels and reuse them. Cleaners will only change towels and bath mats if they are left on the ground in a pile. If any personal belongings are on the beds during service, our staff will not touch the bed. If you wish for the bed to be made up, please ensure it is clear of personal items.
INTERNET ACCESS
Wi-Fi is complimentary for all house guests. Join the ‘Kryal Guest’ network – no password is required.
LOST & FOUND
Contact reception for lost and found property. Kryal Castle retains lost property for a period of 3 months. If you require the item to be posted, please note there is a starting base cost of $20 for postage if the item is small.
MINIBAR
A minibar is located in your room for your convenience. Please refer to the list provided for prices.
NOISE
It is expected that noise be kept to a minimum for the comfort of other guests, particularly after dark and early in the morning.
For rooms with a spa bath, use is limited to 10 pm.
PAYMENT
We accept cash, EFTPOS, or credit cards including Mastercard and Visa. Cheques are not accepted.
PET POLICY
In accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, Service/Assistance Dogs are exempt from this policy and are welcome at Kryal Castle with advance notice in the castle – due to castle animals.
• Castle Rooms, Cabins & Tiny Homes - No pets are allowed at any time for any reason. Failure to observe this rule will render the guest subject to immediate eviction without refund. Cleaning costs may apply. (up to $500.00)
• Sites - Pets are not permitted within the Castle grounds or Holiday Park, and are strictly forbidden from entering the Kryal Castle Adventure Park due to the safety of other onsite animals.

Reception is open from 9 am to 5 pm. For emergencies outside these hours, please contact us on our after-hours phone: 03 5334 8509.
SMOKING
For your comfort, all rooms, cabins, and tiny homes are non-smoking. Ashtrays are provided in the smoking areas – along the wall across from the rooms or along the verandah of the Abbey with views of Ballarat.
We also ask that you do not smoke directly in front of your room as smoke will drift into not only your room but also other rooms. If you choose to disregard this, you will be charged for cleaning and loss of income.
SPA BATHS
For rooms with spa baths, please do not operate the spa after 10 pm for the comfort of other guests.
SPLIT SYSTEM
A remote control is located on the wall of your room. Please do not change the settings on the remote as they are preset for cooling in summer and heating in winter. Contact reception if you need assistance.
TEA & COFFEE
Complimentary tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits are provided in your room.
TELEVISION
The television stations for the local area are SBS, ABC, WIN, Prime, Ten, 7TWO, and GO. All TVs are fitted with USB ports. Please contact reception if you need assistance.
