Joseph Braswell, a born-and-raised local who calls Mountain Brook home, has taken over Guin Service, his grandfather’s trusted business that has served this community and the Birmingham Metro area since 1958. Braswell is proud to carry on his grandfather’s legacy of honesty and hard work while simultaneously helping to bring his industry into the 21st century. “Any company that’s been around for 60 years is doing something right,” says Braswell. “Now it’s my job to bring the conveniences of new technology to our customers.” Smart homes and indoor air quality have become all the rage these days, and Braswell is who to call for these upgrades, as well as for any other HVAC, plumbing, or generator needs that arise.
