Dave said he had walked through their bulls recently and was so impressed with them.

hat ody keeps, that s the best set of bulls ever remember having on this place, Dave said. ost notably, they exhibited the over all champion bull, H 21 3 Eastwood 3 ET, co owned with ettler olled Herefords, at the South Dakota State air this past summer. don t ever remember a Hereford bull doing that, Dave said. ody emphasi ed that while success in the show ring is important, their cattle s performance outside of the arena is what matters most. e try not to chase trends. e

ody is carrying on his great grand father s legacy of relaying a passion and knowledge for Hereford cattle to his children, rooklyn and raxton, and he s also doing it in a broader way that pays homage to Dave s youthful passion for showing. n the spring of 2 1 , ody took no tice of a showman at the South Dakota State air and was eager to take her under his wing. Lindsey olles was about to head off to college, and even though she hadn t ever been incredibly serious about showing, she had a natural ability and jumped at the opportunity to work with the Stenbergs. always had an interest in show (continued on page 8)
