Jeffrey Loria
Jeffrey H. Loria is an internationally recognized art collector, private dealer, author, philanthropist, and former owner of the Miami Marlins, leading the franchise to a World Series championship in 2003. A graduate of Yale University and Columbia Business School, he has built a distinguished career spanning the worlds of fine art, sports, andphilanthropy. Loria has donated more than 100 masterworks to major museums and institutions worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum, National Gallery of Art, Centre Pompidou, and Yale University. His contributions to public art include preserving Roy Lichtenstein’s iconic “Modern Head” sculpture after 9/11 and donating it to the Smithsonian in memory of his sister. Honored with France’s Order of Arts and Letters and the 2023 Champion Award from ALS United Greater New York, Loria continues to support education, healthcare, and the arts through his philanthropic work.
