Four Family

The Anderson family are a family of two young children. The youngest of the children attended the local child care centre but is about to start primary school with his sister next year, located just up the road. The parents are both full-time workers & have lived in the Newcastle region all their lives. They have witnessed first-hand the immense amount that housing has increased over 25 years. Their old neighbourhood of Cooks Hill, where they both grow up, has seen an increase of 614% over the past twenty-five years from $141,500 to $1,015,000.15 This was far out of their budget. Instead, they found Reciprocity. Specifically, it shared equity co-operative scheme. They paid the deposit to secure tenure & have been ever since.
