Jaime Irick

Jaime Irick is a proven leader and transformational executive, most recently serving as the CEO of Pittsburgh Paints Company. In this role, he directed a $2 billion corporate carve-out from PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG) to private equity, guiding the company through its transition to new ownership. Pittsburgh Paints Company stands as a leader in paints, stains, caulks, sealants, and building products for both homeowners and professionals across the U.S. and Canada, with products distributed through 750 company-owned stores and a vast network of retailers. Jaime has built a distinguished career marked by success in major corporate roles and a consistent record of strategic leadership. Joining PPG in 2019, he advanced through increasingly responsible positions, ultimately becoming Senior Vice President, overseeing the Architectural Coatings divisions in the United States and Canada, as well as Global Traffic Solutions, which had a combined revenue of $3 billion and employed more than 7,000 people. He was also one of fifteen executives on PPG’s Operating Committee. Earlier, he served as President of Life Fitness, a $1 billion division of Brunswick Corporation recognized worldwide for commercial fitness equipment, and played a key role in its sale to KPS Capital Partners in 2019. His 13-year tenure at General Electric Company included serving as a GE Company Officer and as President and CEO of GE Lighting Solutions, where he led GE’s global LED lighting business. He was the founding Board Chair of GE’s MC2STEM high school, then the only U.S. high school located on a corporate campus. Today, Jaime serves as a board director for Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE: ITW), a Fortune 300 company with $15.9 billion in annual revenue, and is active on several nonprofit boards. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Jaime Irick holds a degree in Systems Engineering and played Division I basketball.
