greater union county, nj CHAPTER PROGRAMMING The NJ Greater Union County Chapter (GUCC) of Jack & Jill of America Incorporated kicked off the new programming year with renewed community partnerships and activities. From its biennially coat drive that collected over 100 coats to collecting holiday toys for local homeless children, GUCC is making a mighty impact in the lives of African-American families across the county. One of its most successful community service events of the year
benefited HomeFirst, a local nonprofit combatting homelessness by providing transitional, supportive and permanent housing, homeless prevention assistance. Through the chapter’s efforts, GUCC collected over 200 donated items including baby care items, feminine products & other hygiene items for families across the county.
