Islam Elfiky has built his career through a mix of competitive sport, healthcare technology, and hospitality. Based in New York, he is an entrepreneur and business developer who serves as Co-Founder and Head of Business Development at MedsNow. After studying at the American University in Cairo, he moved to the United States to continue his education and athletic career at The George Washington University. At George Washington, he became the No. 1 player on the men’s squash team and held that position for two seasons. During the 2011-12 season, he earned 21 wins and three losses, with 19 wins in straight sets. He closed the year with a 15-match winning streak, received the team’s Most Valuable Player award, and was named Male Athlete of the Year at the first Georgey Awards. He also finished the season ranked 31st nationally. The prior season showed the same steady performance. In 2010-11, he played every match at No. 1, finished with an 18-2 record, and ended the year ranked 34th in the College Squash Association. Together, those two top-35 national rankings placed him among the notable players in the program’s history. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The George Washington University in 2014. Islam Elfiky remains connected to Egypt through his family’s hospital business, which is known for social work and community care. His charitable and volunteer efforts are also centered there. Across squash, pharmacy technology, hospitality, and community service, he continues to build with discipline, patience, and long-term purpose.
