MaryKate Schmidt and John Huguelet have known each other for years, initially meeting at a family communion party when they were 8, followed by dating through college and experiencing many adventurous travels together. Although they briefly parted ways, they eventually reunited and rekindled their romance. The couple’s wedding took place at the Omni Montelucia Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, which boasts an exquisite backdrop of mountains, water fountains, palm trees and resort pools. The couple drew from their love of classic, modern and elegant styles for inspiration, while incorporating neutral tones mixed with pops of black. The overall ambiance exuded timeless sophistication and charm with all-white floral décor, cake and bridesmaids’ dresses—a marvelous monochromatic moment. An influencer and fitness guru, MaryKate wore a form-fitting gown with sheer sleeves by Berta, and John donned a classic black tuxedo. The reception was decorated with a white floral backdrop, and tables held romantic candles and flower arrangements. For a little after-party fun, MaryKate changed into a strapless second dress to dance the night away. —Jenny Castro
