1964, is honoured to announce it has been chosen by the BMW Group as the supplier of a new E-Coat + powder coating line for motorbike frames, which is very strategic for the eastern market. Counting over 1500 systems produced on a global scale, Imel wants to strengthen its presence in the Asian market and this new reference enabled the company to consolidate its position as a ‘High level quality supplier’ in the coating market. the start-up of the line within the required timeframe. After only 10 days of laboratory testing since the start of pilot production, the company obtained validation of the coating quality by BMW for the launch of series production. In addition, after only one week of testing and adjustments, the powder and electrocoating curing ovens obtained the client validation of the curing curves. “This new partnership with such a prestigious customer has enabled us to acquire the necessary skills to work in the top-of-the-line automotive sector,” has stated the company.
