T
he European Coatings Congress and European Coatings Show in 2011 will again live up to their leading international role in all segments of the production of high-grade and competitive coatings, paints, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives. Three months before its start at the end of March 2011, the European Coatings Show has already exceeded the size of the previous event in 2009 – and is still growing! The congress traditionally begins a day before the exhibition: the congress runs from 28–30 March and the exhibition from 29–31 March 2011. The close proximity of the two events in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg creates many synergies and networking opportunities. The eleventh edition of the European Coatings Congress again promises to be a highlight. Many abstracts have been submitted to the European Coatings Congress committee over the past weeks in response to the Call for Papers. These proposals for papers from experts all over the world have been examined and selected according to their topicality and a congress programme has been

nche nel 2011 l’European Coatings Congress e l’European Coatings Show riconfermeranno il proprio ruolo leader a livello internazionale in tutti i comparti della produzione di vernici, inchiostri, mastici, prodotti chimici per l’edilizia e collanti pregiati e concorrenziali. A tre mesi dalla sua apertura, a fine marzo del 2011, l’European Coatings Show ha già superato i volumi della precedente edizione del 2009, con tendenza in ulteriore aumento! Come di consueto il congresso inizierà un giorno prima del salone: il congresso si svolgerà dal 28 al 30 marzo, il salone dal 29 al 31 marzo 2011. Grazie alla attiguità delle due manifestazioni, nel Centro Esposizioni Norimberga ci saranno numerose sinergie e occasioni di networking. L’undicesima edizione dell’European Coatings Congress promette di diventare ancora una volta un momento saliente. In risposta alla richiesta di relazioni, nelle scorse settimane è pervenuto al Comitato dell’European Coatings Congress un gran numero di abstract. Queste proposte di interventi al congresso, inviate da esperti dal mondo intero, sono state esaminate e, in rispondenza all’attualità dei temi proposti, organizzate in un programma con-
