he latest technology presented by Rösler italiana is a combined process of shotpeening and superfinishing. Shotblasting and vibro finishing are treatments intended for the surface of many components. The shotblasting process, under certain conditions and with certain precautions, is able to increase the fatigue strength of a part (the process is technically defined as shotpeening). At the end of the process, the part surface has a significant roughness. Many of these components, in addition to having to withstand cyclic fatigue, are subject to sliding or rotation. A pronounced surface roughness results in a dissipation of energy due to the friction between surfaces. With a vibratory finishing process (technically defined as superfinishing), it is possible to lower the surface roughness up to Ra=0,02 without compromising on the quality of the previous shotpeening process. Rösler, by producing both vibratory finishing and shotpeening equipment with the relative consumables, provides a turnkey process. La granigliatura e la vibrofinitura sono trattamenti che interessano la superficie di molti manufatti. La granigliatura in determinate condizioni e con determinati accorgimenti è in grado di aumentare la resistenza a fatica di un manufatto (il processo viene definito tecnicamente shotpeening o pallinatura). Il manufatto alla fine del processo presenta una rugosità rilevante. Molti di questi particolari oltre a dover resistere a fatica ciclica sono soggetti a scorrimento o rotazione. Una superficie con rugosità pronunciata comporta una dissipazione di energia a causa dell’attrito tra le superfici. Effettuando un processo di vibrofinitura (che tecnicamente viene definito superfinitura) è possibile abbassare la rugosità superficiale fino a Ra=0,02 senza inficiare la qualità del precedente processo di shotpeening.
