La produzione di rivestimenti in polvere per la realizzazione di finiture ad effetto legno non rappresenta certo una novità per Europolveri, in questa tipologia di prodotti la nostra azienda è stata pioniera avendo ottenuto già nel 1998 la prima certificazione “Qualicoat” con la linea di vernici in polvere ad effetto legno denominate “Woodall”. Ricerca e sviluppo, come è nel DNA di Europolveri, hanno portato a nuove formulazioni e a lunghi e rigorosi test di verifica che si sono concretizzati in nuove linee di prodotti con caratteristiche e prestazioni in grado di assicurare non solo un elevato grado di protezione e quindi ottima durabilità ma anche un valido risultato in termini estetici e cromatici.
“ArchitecturalLignum” è un’innovativa linea di vernici in polvere studiata per ricreare, con differenti tecnologie, l’effetto ed il calore delle essenze lignee su manufatti in metallo. La nuova linea di vernici è formulata con resine poliestere o poliuretaniche ed è caratterizzata da una elevata resistenza agli agenti esterni e da una elevata valenza estetica. “ArchitecturalLignum” è disponibile in due differenti serie di vernici in polvere correlate alle più attuali e moderne tipologie applicative. Una serie di basi per effetto legno per l’utilizzo con tecnologia di sublimazione, serie che ha ottenuto la licenza “Qualideco” e che prevede le seguenti fasi applicative: 1) Applicazione della vernice in polvere, spessore 70-120 micron; 2) Reticolazione completa in forno a 200-220°C (15 - 20 minuti); 3) Avvolgimento e saldatura del film; 4) Estrazione dell'aria tramite vuoto; 5) Sublimazione in forno a 200°C, trasferimento del decoro dal film alla barra; 6) Distacco e rimozione del film mediante soffiatura.
Una seconda serie di vernici in polvere a base poliestere, formulate per l’applicazione “polvere su polvere” che prevede le seguenti fasi in base al tipo di tecnologia utilizzata. Per impianti in linea orizzontale: 1) Applicazione della vernice in polvere, spessore 70-90 micron; 2) Fusione del rivestimento applicato a 110-120°C (15 - 20 minuti); 3) Applicazione della polvere per la venatura; 4) Polimerizzazione standard 190-200°C (15 - 20 minuti). Per impianti in linea verticale: 1) Applicazione della vernice in polvere, spessore 70-90 micron; 2) Fusione del rivestimento applicato a 110-120°C (15 - 20 minuti) o infrarossi 4-6 minuti; 3) Applicazione della polvere per la venatura; 4) Definizione della venatura mediante rulli e spazzole; 5) Polimerizzazione standard 190-200°C (15 - 20 minuti).
Settori di applicazione. La serie di vernici in polvere ArchitecturalLignum trova applicazione ove sia necessario riprodurre fedelmente l’effetto ed il calore del legno su manufatti metallici destinati all’interno o all’esterno quali:

The production of powder coatings for the creation of wood effect finishes is hardly new to Europolveri, with these kind of products our company has been a pioneer, having obtained in 1998 its first certification "Qualicoat" with the line of powder coatings wood effect called "Woodall". Research and Development, as it is in Europolveri's DNA, have led to new formulations and long and rigorous testing criteria finalizing in new lines of products with characteristics and performance that assure not only a high level of protection, as such good durability, but also a good results in terms of appearance and color.
“ArchitecturalLignum” is an innovative line of powder coatings studied to recreate, with different technologies, the effect and warmth of wood essence on metal products. The new series of coatings is formulated with polyester or polyurethane resins and is characterized by a high resistance to external agents and by an elevated aesthetic valance. "ArchitecturalLignum" is available in two different series of powder coatings, related to the most current and modern application types. One series of bases for wood effect with the use of the sublimation technology, which has obtained the "Qualideco" license, that foresees the following application phases: 1) Application of the powder coating, thickness 70-120 micron; 2) Complete Crosslinking in the oven at 200-220°C (15-20 minutes); 3) Wrapping and sealing of the film; 4) Air Extraction by vacuum; 5) Sublimation in oven at 200°C, transfer of the deco from the film to the bar; 6) Detachment and removal of the film by air blowing.
A second series of polyester based powder coatings, formulated for the applications of "powder on powder" that foresees the following application phases based on the technology used. For horizontal installations: 1) Application of the powder coating, thickness 70-90 micron; 2) Fusion of the coating applied at 110-120°C (15-20 minutes); 3) Application of the veining powder; 4) Standard polymerization 190-200°C (15-20 minutes). For vertical installations: 1) Application of the powder coating, thickness 70-90 micron; 2) Fusion of the coating applied at 110-120°C (15-20 minutes) or infrared for 4-6 minutes; 3) Application of the veining powder; 4) Defining of the veining with the use of rollers and brushes; 5) Standard polymerization 190-200°C (15-20 minutes).
Application Sectors. The ArchitecturalLignum powder coatings series, is applicable where it is necessary to accurately reproduce the effect and the warmth of wood on metal articles intended for inside or outside use, such as:
- Parts and furniture and metal structures such as doors, windows, garage doors; - Architectural structures and coatings; - Elements of furnishings such as furniture and lighting; - House appliances.
