A new façade can transform and revitalise an existing building; it gives new life to the surrounding architecture and structures, by presenting a completely different perspective. Interior Services’ façade solutions combine both modernity and cultural values. With the help of materials and architectural ingenuity, the company is able to achieve a unique look for buildings that distinguish them on the cityscape. Media Centre, Interior Service’s awardwinning project in Baku, proved to be one of the company’s most challenging but favourite ventures. It was both difficult in technical terms as well as bearing no resemblance in
style to any other building in the city. The project has been carried out in a distinctly vintage style with loft elements to enhance its overall appearance. The building resembles an end of the 19th century/early 20th century factory. This is due to its aged red bricks which feature on many architectural elements on its façade, metalwork with rivets and wrought iron features. Both the facades and interiors of the building have been designed to follow the same style. The highlight of the project is a glass atrium between the two sections of the building which appears to cut the interior in half. Its transparent glazing allows a clear view from one section to another and is enhanced by a massive metal bridge crossing its width in the form of the base of the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris.
