Chateau Charme Black

Innovation is at the heart of BerryAlloc

With collections that deliver on style, quality and ease of installation across laminate, wood, HPF and LVT floors, BerryAlloc is one of Belgium’s foremost flooring brands. Building relationships with a growing number of UK retailers, it is continually investing in improving product quality, for flooring experiences that stand out from the competition.

The brand’s reputation for innovation can be traced back to 2008, when the manufacturer launched hydro+, the world’s first 100% water-resistant technology for laminate flooring. Available on the company’s Ocean+ laminate collection, it continues to provide homes with the authenticity, durability and maintenance of laminate throughout the home. The collection features natural matt wood and lifelike stone designs in a choice of modern and classic styles, also boasting a number of designs with a deep wood structure, an ultra-deep embossed texture and supermatt finish for a true recreation of nature.

Recently updated, the Chateau laminate collection is inspired by the parquet floors of grand houses. Four classic laying patterns and 15 wood decors bring more freedom of expression than ever. From herringbone to shipdeck, mosaic and ladder, in any combination of the collection’s original wood effects, Chateau lets homes reference the past, adding modern style for a look that’s completely unique.

Grand Majestic is the new High Pressure Floor from BerryAlloc, celebrating the majesty of super-wide and extra-long planks it’s a floor for homes that like to think big. Designed and made in Norway, it comes in a 30cm x 240cm plank size made possible by the strength of High Pressure Floors. Scratch and impact resistant, this is a floor that stays looking good no matter what life throws at it. And with the builtin BerryAlloc SilentSystem, it deadens footsteps for a quieter place to be.

DreamClick is BerryAlloc’s answer to the problems commonly associated with conventional LVT. Centred around a unique click system and patented rigid construction, the four-sided 360deg mechanism means it’s possible to install in any direction and any combination.

Launched after a two-year R&D process, BerryAlloc’s Ultimtec finish brings high-quality engineered wood flooring with the simplicity to suit today’s living. The success of the hybrid finish is in its ability to bring the natural look of oil with the practical advantages of a hardwearing lacquer. It features on the Les Essentiels and Les Exclusifs collections that embrace the consumer’s natural reflex to choose colour before texture.

In Les Essentiels, BerryAlloc presents classic colours, offering a solid choice with wide appeal. In Les Exclusifs, the colours feel more premium and trendleading with an enhanced sense of depth. Both collections are constructed with an HDF core that provides fast-click installation while delivering stability and impact resistance. Visit: www.berryalloc.com

Comfort counts for Tribù

Tosca low dining chair and counter-height version (right)

For Belgian outdoor furniture manufacturer Tribù, its 2022 collection is all about comfort, with lower tables to gather around and deep-seated chairs to ease into for al fresco lunches that last until cocktail hour.

The new Amanu collection, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, comprises a dining chair, lounge chair and dining table. Woven chair seats that support and gently mould to the body are suspended from slim teak frames. The teak table has a top finished with reclaimed ceramic tiles that appear suspended over the frame, adding a lightness to the look.

The versatile Senja collection has a new armchair and lounge chair. Designed by father and son Wim and Bob Segers of Studio Segers, the lounge chair has an indulgent extended seat depth, wide backrest and soft cushions. Like the armchair, it comes with linen, wenge or teak legs and body-contouring woven back rest.

Designer Monica Armani has updated her Tosca collection with a low dining chair, using the luxurious outsize weave of the backrest in a wider, deeper version. Placed around a low dining table, the chair is perfectly framed for comfort while eating, and relaxed enough to curl up in later.

She has also added a counter-height chair to the collection, designed for bars or tall tables. Visit: www.tribu.com

Polyflor’s latest range combines elements of two others

Polyflor has launched the UK manufactured, textile-backed Architex vinyl collection of 18 wood, cement and abstract designs. Designed to sit alongside the Designatex and Secura collections, Architex has been developed to include a unique hybrid backing that combines the comfort of Secura with the textile backing of Designatex.

Architex includes features such as R10 slip resistance, 19dB sound impact reduction and a polyurethane reinforcement for ease of cleaning and maintenance. Architex can also be loose laid in most residential interiors up to 20sqm, making it quick to install as no adhesives are required. The addition of the textile backing also means the floor can be installed over damp subfloors where a relative humidity (Rh) of 90% is not exceeded.

‘Our new Architex collection offers an impressive collection of beautiful trend-led designs as well as an outstanding set of performance benefits intended to enhance residential spaces. We also took the opportunity to refresh the look and feel of our UK manufactured luxury vinyl sheet offering and align the collections with an extensive sampling package, including a new retail display presence,’ says Tom Rollo, Polyflor marketing director.

‘The new collection is beautifully presented within a sampling package which includes a new luxury vinyl sheet brochure and retail display unit combining all three collections: Secura, Designatex and Architex, in addition to Architex specific shade cards and presenters. Sampling can be ordered free of charge on the Polyflor website or by calling the Polyflor Samples Direct hotline on 0161 767 2551.’ Visit: www.polyflor.com
