Dixie's Co-op Energy Efficiency Program consists of both a loan and rebate program to help our member-owners manage the cost of installing energy efficient improvements in their homes. While there is value in practicing no-cost and low-cost measures, the more extensive energy efficiency improvements obviously make a bigger impact on your power bill. The process begins with a free energy audit to target efficiency opportunities and decide what upgrades you may need to make. Blueberry-Banana Smoothie Ingredients: 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, frozen for 1 hour 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk Banana slices and blueberries for garnish
1 frozen banana 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions: 1. Combine the banana, blueberries, and yogurt in a food processor or high- powered blender. 2. Pulse several times, until the mixture looks crumbly. 3. Add the coconut milk and vanilla extract and blend until smooth. 4. Pour into two glasses and garnish with fresh fruit, if desired.

Scholarship Opportunity We will be awarding ten $2,500 scholarships in 2020. Our scholarship program is available to any graduating high school senior who is the dependent of a cooperative member-owner who receives electricity from Dixie. The awarded scholarship funds can be used at a four-year or two-year college or university, as well as a technical or trade school. New Year, New Resolutions: Resolve to use less energy this year With the new year comes new resolutions. Resolve to use less energy with the MyUsage.com website and mobile app. MyUsage is a free service that allows Dixie Electric Cooperative's memberowners to monitor and manage their energy use at any time. Here's how it works: After registering online, you can start monitoring how much electricity you use each day, just like you monitor the gas gauge in your car. When you sign up, you can also choose to receive daily use alerts by e-mail or high use alerts when your daily use exceeds a certain threshold that you can customize for yourself. MyUsage graphically displays your electric use, while also displaying important weather data that could impact your energy use as well. You can also view your detailed history that displays the daily high and low temperature, your daily kWh use, and your estimated power cost for each day.
