WILDLIFE MEMORIES CONSERVATION

For visitors, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a fun way of making a difference to wildlife.

The Extinction Trail has quickly become a family favourite, 100 million years in the making, transporting guests back in time with dinosaurs and megafauna, reminding us that extinction is forever. Walk with the dinosaurs and learn about the huge descendants of creatures that still exist today.

A visit to Lost Valley takes you on a journey through the ancient supercontinent Gondwana. Featuring 5 acres of stunning rainforest, and one of the largest walk through aviaries in the Southern hemisphere.

The miniature train will take you everywhere you need to go including our daily shows and animal encounters.

Throughout the day you can also cool off at Wild Island Adventure Splash Zone. Set amongst a stunning landscape of sub-tropical flora and fauna, it’s the perfect place to relax and watch the kids run wild through a range of timed water jets, streams and waterfalls.

Guests can visit one of the busiest wildlife hospitals in the world, and see the veterinary staff in action! Currumbin Wildlife Hospital opened more than 32 years ago, treating, rehabilitating and releasing 14,000 animals last year alone, including nearly 500 Koalas. They provide a free service to the community and rely heavily on donations.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a not-for-profit organisation, every time you visit or donate, you’re helping protect the future of our wonderful wildlife for generations to come.
