Dean Cannon / LOBBYIST Many are familiar with Dean Cannon’s tremendous success and ongoing influence as an attorney, lobbyist, and chairman of GrayRobinson. Dean is also an extraordinary political force whose influence is in large part responsible for the success of the Republican Party for more than a decade. Dean’s influence led House Republicans out of a period of crisis to a supermajority. He built a coalition that changed leadership at the Republican Party of Florida, resulting in the most successful election in modern history. He went on to serve as a strong, conservative Speaker of the House, leading Florida out of the Great Recession. The people of Florida are still reaping the benefits of Dean Cannon’s decisive leadership at a critical time in our state’s history.
