Little Foodies: Local Food Pantries

Whether you find yourself in need or your family is looking for a way to serve others with donations, Southwest Ohio has several food pantries and organizations excited to help this holiday season.

Cincinnati

Locations vary As one of the largest food banks in Ohio, Freestore Foodbank provides 37 million meals annually, including Kids Cafe, a free program that feeds children after school.

1730 Race St., 45202 For anyone facing food insecurity, Our Daily Bread also provides necessary household goods and an after-school program.

261 Gilbert Ave., 45206 Queen City Kitchen has no zip code restrictions or requirements to access services of hot to-go meals, choice pantry and prepackaged pantry grocery bags at the oldest soup kitchen in Cincinnati.

Locations vary Through 11 parish-based food pantries throughout Hamilton County, SVDP is feeding and providing personal care items to more than a thousand families each month.

Dayton

56 Armor Place, 45417 Serving hunger relief in Montgomery, Greene and Preble counties, The Foodbank distributes to over 100 member pantries and holds a weekly drive-thru pantry for families in any county with a photo ID.

3415 Linden Ave., 45410 With a full-choice pantry, families can choose their own bread, meat, produce and non-perishable items throughout the pantry. 8255 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati Wonderland Playground was built for fun! Our space was designed for ages 1-8 with several different play areas.
