Raised boxes

Rise up

Growing food for the family table is rewarding and it tastes good too. Having raised beds in wooden boxes means you don’t have to spend a lot of time on your knees and they are a solution to poor soil

BOXES AND RAISED BEDS

In smaller gardens, wooden crates can be used for vegetables. They don’t take up too much space and can provide a good supply of food for the family table. Beds can be constructed out of wooden planks or bricks and rich topsoil and organic matter added before seeds are sown.
