WINTER is upon us and this season's trends include loungewear, activewear and, of course, sleepwear.

Our favourite Instagram stars have already set the tone on pairing your favourite comfortable clothes most stylishly.

For your winter fashion style inspiration, these are the local Insta stars to choose from.

Ntando Duma (@dumantado)

Shorts aren’t reserved for spring/summer. They are very much on trend this season. Just like Duma, you can also rock yours with styling boots and a cool puffer jacket.

Nqobile Khwezi (@nqobilekhwezi)

She likes to show legs and does it so well. Although the temperatures have dropped, Khwezi still wears short dresses/pants, but she pairs them with knee-length boots and a stylish coat.

Karabo Makwaba (@karabo_makwaba)

The makeup artist and founder of Blink BossSA has a simple way of styling sweatpants. She usually wears them with a cropped top or fashionable bra. She sticks to one colour, and our favourite look is the all-white that she paired with black and red Nike Jordan 1 to add a bit of colour.

Sinethemba Duma (@Cne_shuga)

The fashion and food content creator showed us how to rock cosy loungewear in two different ways. To dress up, she wore the nude cropped cosy loungewear from

Mr Price with a check blazer and strappy sandals. To dress it down, she wore the twopiece with comfortable slides.

Junette Syster (@junetteva01)

The model is super creative when it comes to styling activewear, and she makes it look so easy. She would wear tights and a sports bra and pair it with block heels and a leather biker’s jacket, and then, voila, she’s ready for an outing with friends.

Sithelo Shozi (@_sithelo)

She has a unique way of styling loungewear. If it’s not luxe, she wears it as street style, making it look like she’s ready for fashion week.

Naomi Noinyane (@KNaomi)

When it comes to knits, K Naomi is your girl. A simple knitted midi skirt and sweater is all it takes to stand out. You can also add a cap for more flair.

Nqobile Khwezi (@nqobilekhwezi)

She likes to show legs and does it so well. Although the temperatures have dropped, Khwezi still wears short dresses/pants, but she pairs them with knee-length boots and a stylish coat.
