In-Depth

The portfolio of Gino Terrell. This covers a brief snippet to capture the growth of Gino Terrell's journey as a journalist. Gino's Perspective is his high school senior project (when he attempted to bring back the school newspaper single handedly). Pipers In-Depth is the publication Terrell founded at Hamline University, which continues to run today as Untold Magazine on campus. The first two issues of Pipers In-Depth is included in this portfolio because those are the two publication Terrell served as Editor-In-Chief before he graduated. Terrell received much recognition for this endeavor on a national level. He was most notably named the 2017 National Association of Black Journalists Student Journalist of the Year. In-Depth magazine is a collection of feature stories Terrell published as a freelancer for startup online publications including the defunct MCXV, Creative Unity and Hidden Valley Culture.
