aberdaron
On Aberdaron Beach itself, you will find soft sand that is dotted with large rocks and limpid pools that make a great spot to search for aquatic life. The beach is also enclosed by imposing headlands that mean you are sheltered from most winds. At both ends of Aberdaron Beach you will find mysterious sea caves that you can explore and there are tracks that lead to several smaller beaches off the main strip.
The beach between the river and the church has a dog ban from 1st April to 30th September. At low tide there is plenty of space to either side for dogs to have a run.
The beach is known as a good family beach, and in addition to disabled access you will also find plenty of car parking options, some shops, and a few cafes scattered around close to the main village.
