Abersoch’s main beach is sheltered and sandy, with safe swimming and great views of the mountains of West Wales. Boat trips to St Tudwal and Bardsey Island.

There is a dog ban in force on the northern part of the beach from the jetty by the car park round to the river mouth. This is in force between 1st April and 30th September, the rest of the beach is dog friendly all year.

Visitors can park in the Abersoch Golf Club beach car park 365 days of the year, for a small tariff payable either by cash or via the 'paybyphone' system.

Toilets available in the beach car park, with cafes and shops available nearby.
