Founded in 1973 The Cole Group specializes in pre-employment screening aka background checks throughout the United States. We are based in Houston Texas but have over 3000 clients in 46 states.

We have clients that are publicly traded on NYSE and NASDAQ, as well as privately owned companies. Often, we are recommended by insurance agents and brokers, as we help mitigate risk and loss claims for their clients.

Our unique process provides a much more holistic view of the applicants including prior employment history, red flags, theft, etc. We exceed client expectations in service, accuracy, turnaround time and most significantly slashing employee turnover, which is costly.

The Cole Group is committed to serving the Houston community where their corporate office is located. They are active members of IIAH and many other organizations and associations. Charley Katz is the Executive Vice President of The Cole Group and has helped the company grow and strategically positioned them for future growth. Prior to The Cole Group, Charley had an 11-year career in private and commercial banking.
