2nd Annual Mulligans, Memories & Mediums in Honor of Michael E. Kulp Raises over $20,000 in loving memory of Michael E. Kulp submitted by TAMARA KULP

…a little boy who brought so much spirit to life. The 2nd Annual Mulligans, Memories and Mediums event was held on September 24 at Blue Shamrock Golf Club in Palmerton. The event raised over $20,000. Monies went into the Michael E. Kulp Memorial Fund, Inc., a nonprofit 501c3 created to support children. Proceeds from this fund benefit Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital and scholarships /small schools (Charter, Christian, Catholic, etc.) for children who benefit from small school environments. This includes, but is not limited to, the Michael E. Kulp Scholarship Fund at Saint John Neumann Regional School in Palmerton. Any family who feels their child would thrive in a small school environment, but perhaps can’t afford it, should send their written request to Michael E. Kulp Memorial Fund, Inc. PO Box 342, Walnutport, PA 18088. Last year’s event monies went to the Child Life Department (which runs solely on donations) within Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Additional monies 50

went to Saint John Neumann Regional School, the Michael E. Kulp Scholarship Fund at SJNRS, The Circle of Seasons Charter School (Fogelsville), The Mercy Learning Center (Allentown), and The Hillside School (Macungie). The fundraiser kicked off in the afternoon with 140 golfers including men, women and children. Non-golfing participants were able to enjoy private mediumship readings with local mediums (Martha Peterson, Ashyn Flanagan, Roseann Turek, Cynthia Trocchio, Laura Ophoff, and Aly Greenstreet). Guests also had the opportunity to participate in painting at the pub with artist Paula Zelienka where moms and children painted “Dragonflies by Moonlight,” The dinner and social evening had 230 guests in attendance for announcement of the golf awards, door prizes, over 50 baskets for a Chinese Auction, a Silent Auction, announcement of the Bacon Recipe Contest winners and entertainment by the musical duo “Feelin’ Good.” After dinner and awards, 40 guests chose to participate in a mediumship gallery where Spiritual Evidential Medium Gloria Weichand brought messages through from the other side to the group. THE TOURNAMENT AWARDS WERE AS FOLLOWS: First Place team: score of 59 - Bob DiSaverio, Scott Gilbert, Dick Fox, and Jim Moorehouse. Second Place team: score of 60 – Jason Edmonds, Dan Brobst, Zane Brobst, and Mike Barger. Third Place team: score of 61 – Umberto Pasquariello, Bryan Dieter, Tim Grube, and Eric Miller. Random 4th place team: Tony Schneider, Steve Kerbacher, Chad Royer, and Dwayne Sterner. Closest to the Pin Hole # 8: 11’7” Bob DiSaverio. Closest to the Pin Hole # 15: 8’2”Tim Grube.
