DARTFISH PRO

Many of you will be aware that Dartfish has been at the forefront of video analysis within bike fitting for many years. This is remarkable, especially because Dartfish is not a bike fitting specific software.

What made it so popular in years past, was its flexibility, ease-of-use and low hardware cost requirements.

None of that has changed with the new release. It can be used with expensive WebCams for instance and can capture at 720P at 60 frames a second. Dartfish, recently totally upgraded and re-wrote the base code of all of its software to maintain compatibility and stability on the latest Windows operating systems.

You can then analyse the video clips in any way you choose. You can step forward to a specific key frame and measure angles or measurements can be made to track body markers, which are not specific to the so=ware. All it needs is a high contrast point to follow..

What’s interes&ng about DarBish is the fact that it is not prescrip&ve in terms of what you measure so if you are an advanced bike fiCer or someone doing research, then the full flexibility provided by the so=ware is very useful.

The analysis screens allow total flexibiily, which enables new processes or theories to be developed.

Once analysis is complete, you can then export everything into images or videos, which can then be downloaded or shared via DarBish‘s own online cloud storage plaBorm.
