LOCAL 103 BUILDS EMERGENCY CARE FACILITIES IBEW Local 103 members and signatory contractor McDonald Electrical Corporation have been hard at work building critical, temporary medical facilities in Boston and Cambridge, expanding our region's capacity to care for COVID-19 patients. McDonald Electric partnered with Suffolk Construction for the urgent task of creating new, much-need space for frontline medical professionals to do their jobs safely and effectively. Our members completed the full wiring of the temporary facilities, installing all lighting, heating, smoke detectors, emergency lights, exit signs, convenience outlets, wiring for bathroom trailers, and portable shower rooms. The McDonald Electrical Corporation crew consisted of IBEW Local 103 members Mike Baker, Brian Bates, John Sullivan, David Wilkey, Justin Allen, Marc Dilworth, Jordan Barry, Connor Fallon and Kevin Ferstler. IBEW Local 103 gives a big thank you to McDonald Electrical Corporation, and to our members on the job, for stepping up to the plate when our community needs it most!
