Career & Student Success Advisors (CSSAs): Our Career & Student Success Advisors can help guide your academic and career journey and connect you to on-campus resources and support services Using the Hub and Spoke model, each CSSA provides specific support to their respected faculty as well as general support for all learners when needed https://careershumberca/advisor-teamphp
Career Support Peers (CSPs): CSPs offer one on one appointments for current learners for general career development support such as resume review, cover letter review, LinkedIn profile, and mock interviews
Career Advancement Services Coaches (CAS Coaches): Our Career Coaching service is free to Humber Alumni and Continuing Education (CE) learners The service includes interest and skills assessment, one-on-one coaching, career goal identification, and educational planning
Career Steps Workshops: Career Development Workshops are designed to give you tips on writing effective resumes and cover letters, creating a LinkedIn Profile, acing interviews, understanding CareerConnect and doing effective job searches All workshops are CCR certified
Career Month: Usually scheduled in November and March offers interactive workshops, networking, panel discussions, job fairs and events aimed to prepare you for the world of work
Transition to Work: The Transition to Work for People with Disabilities initiative aims to support learners with disabilities by promoting self-advocacy, offering career preparedness information and workshops, tips for disclosing and negotiating accommodation needs in the workplace and much more
