DAC Manimaran Pushpanatan, Director of Police National Service Department (PNSD). “This is ever so important, especially since we are living during uncertain times, in an uncertain world.” During the ceremony, PNSD had a short presentation on the main recommendations proposed by the Committee to Strengthen National Service (CSNS). These recommendations, which had been accepted by the Government, sought to ensure a strong NS training system, and to better recognise our NS officers. Home Team News spoke to one of the award recipients who

is currently a panel member on the CSNS committee. DSP (NS) Mulyadi Bin Ahmad, 38, was officially appointed the Deputy Commander of the Airport Police Division (APD) at Changi Airport. “It is an honour to be one of the two Home Team Officers who are on the panel of CSNS,” said DSP (NS) Mulyadi. “One recommendation that I was pleased with was the employment of more regulars to help out with the training for NS. This is because regulars have a wealth of experience to share with us NSmen.” Once again, congratulations to all our officers on their new appointments!
