Ugovor o sponzorstvu na posebno organiziranoj svečanosti potpisali su glavni tajnik HOO-a Josip Čop i direktorica Crodux derivata Draga Antić. Potpisivanju ugovora uz predsjednika HOO-a Zlatka Matešu, predsjednika uprave Crodux derivata Ivana Čermaka te pomoćnika glavnog tajnika HOO-a za marketing Ranka Ćetkovića, nazočili su i zlatna olimpijka iz Londona 2012. atletičarka Sandra Perković, brončana olimpijka u taekwondou iz Pekinga 2008. Martina Zubčić, članovi srebrnog olimpijskog četverca iz Londona 2012. David Šain i Damir Martin, te svjetski prvaci i rekorderi 2014. u veslačkom dvojcu na pariće Valent i Martin Sinković.
Športski novinari nagradili najbolje Na prigodnoj svečanosti u Novinarskom domu u Zagrebu, kojem je prethodio izborni sabor i potvrda još jednog četverogodišnjeg mandata predsjedniku Juri Ozmecu, glav-
nom uredniku Sportske televizije, Hrvatski zbor sportskih novinara (HZSN) proglasio je najbolje u redovima športskih novinara, fotoreportera, publicista i drugih kreatora javne športske riječi. Novinarom godine proglašen je Tomislav Židak iz Jutarnjeg lista a nagrada za životno djelo dodijeljena je dugogodišnjem televizijskom komentatoru i bivšem predsjedniku HZSN-a Slavku Cvitkoviću te športskom publicistu i bivšem glavnom uredniku Večernjeg lista i Sportskih novosti Branku Tuđenu. Za televizijsko novinarstvo nagrađena je novinarka HTV-a Mila Horvat, dok je priznanje u kategoriji intervjua dobio novinar Predrag Jurišić iz Večernjeg lista. Novinar Hine Denis Lugarić i splitski publicist Jurica Gizdić dobili su priznanje za publicistiku za monografiju „Pola stoljeća hrvatskog paraolimpizma“. Hinin fotoreporter Damir Senčar najbolji je hrvatski sportski fotoreporter, a vrhunski hrvatski športaš, pobjednik US Opena Marin Ćilić dobio je priznanje Hrvatskog zbora sportskih novinara za suradnju s medijima. Njegov matični savez, Hrvatski teniski savez, dobio je priznanje za najbolje organiziranu press službu pod vodstvom Igora Rajkovića. Priznanje za lokalno novinarstvo dobio je Željko Kapelari s HRT-radio Zadra, posebno priznanje dobila su regionalna izdanja Sportskih novosti, dok je splitska sekcija HZSN-a nagrađena za društveni angažman u humanitarnim akcijama.
Top athletes in reserve unit of the OSRH (Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia) COC and the Croatian Ministry of Defense (MORH) signed in March this year a new agreement, continuation of many years of cooperation. President of the Croatian Olympic Committee Zlatko Mateša and Minister of Defense Ante Kotromanović signed the agreement in the presence of many athletes and military and sports notables. According to the agreement, the reserve unit of Croatian Armed Forces will include 11 top male and female athletes, mostly winners of medals at both World and European Championships and Olympics, such as Giovanni Černogoraz (gold medalist in trap at the Olympic Games in London in 2012) and Filip Ude (holder of the silver medal in pommel horse in Beijing in 2008). Besides them, the reserve unit includes also the athlete Ana Šimić, wrestlers Božo Starčević, Neven and Nenad Žugaj, judoka Barbara Matić, shooters Anton and Josip Glasnović and taekwondo-in Ana Zaninović and Vedran Golec.
Campaign „In the rhythm of Rio“ Concerning the upcoming Olympics to be held in August 2016 in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), the COC’s marketing department has launched a corporate campaign „In the rhythm of Rio“ and gave a new swing to the promotion of Olympic values and top-level sports achievements of Croatian Olympians, whose number is 878. In cooperation with national sports federations, sponsors and athletes, the meetings – held on monthly basis – shall take place throughout Croatia. The first host, in March, was the city of Rijeka, where the golden Olympians from London Olympics 2012, water polo players Ivan Buljubašić and Sukno, along with their colleague, Olympic candidate for Rio Olympics Anđelo Šetka, met with female cadets from the shooting club "Lokomotiva" from Rijeka: Nina Bogunović, Vanessa Jezidžić, Melanie Glad and Iva Đerek, led by Snjezana Pejčić, bronze medalist from Beijing 2008 and the first Croatian female athlete who has ensured her performance in Rio. The ending of the campaign foresees the organization of several-weeks-long festival of culture, sports and Olympism at the Sports-Recreational Centre “Jarun” in Zagreb, during the Rio Olympics from August 5th to August 21st 2015.
„Sports Croatia“ directly broadcasted on SPTV News of the national Internet service of the COC, „Sports Croatia“, in which almost every day 40 of the 79 national sports federations (22 Olympic and 18 non-Olympic sports), eight county sports associations and another ten associations and institutions members of the COC take part, are being from February 2015 - directly broadcasted within the program of the Sports television during the broadcasting of sports news. This important media step forward in the creation of independent information space of Croatian sports, is the result of the efforts that each member of the Olympic family has the same media attention regardless of the attractiveness or commercial importance, which is a part of the strategy of the best possible information on the activities of Croatian athletes. For example, in the service "Sports Croatia" we can keep track - at the same time - of events in global and domestic football from the portal of the Croatian Football Federation, as well as the announcement of Croatian Championship in bowling at the Special Olympiad...
