kvalitetom rada te poslovno-tehnološkom osnovicom može biti pouzdan partner u zahtjevnim projektima kao što su Olimpijske igre. Prepoznali su to i Europski olimpijski odbori (EOC) dodijelivši joj 2015. televizijska prava za emitiranje prvih Europskih igara u Bakuu. Priznanje radu SPTV stiglo je i od Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (IOC), koji SPTV prihvaća kao pilot projekt olimpijskog kanala (Olympic Channel) koji bi trebao početi s emitiranjem do kraja ove godine. Od veljače 2015. SPTV se okreće većem informativnom i dokumentarnom programu u suradnji s Al Jazeere Balkans kao partnerom. Cjelokupan programski sadržaj prikazuje se i uživo, putem live web streaminga, kojem se pristupa preko nedavno redizajnirane, moderne i lako dohvatljive web stranice (www.sptv.hr). Posljednja analiza svjetske kompanije AGB Nielsen koja se bavi istraživanjem gledanosti TV programa, potvrdila je da su rezultati gledanosti SPTV izvanserijski. U prvome kvartalu 2016. godine, SPTV se na ljestvici više od 200 kanala, koliko ih je u Hrvatskoj dostupno na svim platformama, pozicionirao na visoko 14. mjesto za sedam mjesta više od prethodne 2015. kada je bio 23. Prema rezultatima tog istraživanja SPTV je najgledaniji športski kanal u Hrvatskoj, daleko iza su Sportklub i Eurosport 2. Svi ostali športski kanali u tom razdoblju mjerenja nisu prešli prag nužnoga minimuma gledanosti, kako bi uopće bili zabilježeni u preciznoj tehnološkoj operaciji AGB Nielsena. Programski sadržaj se emitira na nacionalnoj mreži multiplexa MUX D (90,2% teritorija Hrvatske), te na platformama kabelskih i IP televizija H1TV, MaxTV, B-netu, OptiTV, Amis, Iskon TV (600.000 pretplatnika). Prema nalazu AGB Nielsena SPTV ima stalni krug gledatelja, kojih je u pojedinim programskim terminima prelazi pola milijuna! Ono što još predstoji SPTV-u je finalizacija prava na emitiranje arhivske građe hrvatskoga športa koju posjeduje HRT, a tiče se izvanrednih uspjeha hrvatskih športaša na najvećim svjetskim natjecanjima među kojima su Olimpijske igre, svjetska i europska prvenstva, teniski turnir u Wimbledonu itd...

Bivše vrhunske hrvatske športašice, a danas trenerice, košarkašica i olimpijka Kornelija Kvesić, atletičarka Tijana Pavičić i judašica Željka Maranić, hrvatske su polaznice edukacije za mentore međunarodnog SCORE projekta (Strengthening Coaching with the Objective to Raise Equality) osmišljenog za učenje i mentoriranje u promišljanju razvoja rodne ravnopravnosti u športskom treningu. Zadaća prve hrvatske mentorske trojke, koja je u siječnju i svibnju ove godine na Cipru i Helsinkiju sudjelovala na dva seminara o mentorstvu, bit će projektiranje i primjena sustava mentoriranja trenera u matičnim nacionalnim športskim savezima, a kasnije u suradnji s HOO-om i u drugim savezima. Pored edukacije za mentore u okviru SCORE projekta, u zemljama partnerima projekta održavaju se i nacionalni seminari na kojima se prezentiraju alati za uspostavu boljih uvjeta za rodnu ravnopravnost i povećanje broja trenerica u športu. U Hrvatskoj, koja je bila prva na redu, seminar je u veljači 2016. organizirao Hrvatski olimpijski odbor (HOO), a održan je u sklopu 14. znanstveno-stručne konferencije Kineziološkog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Seminar pod nazivom “Kondicijska priprema športaša 2016.” okupio je predstavnice nacionalnih športskih saveza zaduženih za struku i edukaciju trenera. Josip Skoblar presented with highest French decoration On April 8, at the ceremony held at the City Hall in Marseille, the legendary Croatian football player and coach Josip Skoblar (75) has been awarded the high recognition of the French state, the recognition Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite - Knight of the National Order of Merit. Skoblar received this recognition - awarded by the President of France - for his merits as the Ambassador of the football club Olympique de Marseille. The award was presented to him by the Mayor of Marseille Jean-Claude Gaudin at the ceremony attended by the French Minister of Sports, Patrick Kanner, President of the Croatian Football Association, Davor Šuker and Head of Department for International Cooperation at the Croatian Olympic Committee, Ljiljana Ujlaki Šubić. Josip Skoblar was born on March 12, 1941 in Prevlaka near Zadar. He was playing for Zadar in 1957 and 1958 and from 1959 to 1966, he was a member of the OFK Beograd. He is the only Croatian football player and player from the area of former Yugoslavia, who has won – as top goalscorer in Ligue 1 – the European Golden Boot in 1971 for 44 goals in Ligue 1, scored at the French Championships in the season 1970/71. Upon his return home, from 1973 to 1977 Skoblar was playing for the football club NK Rijeka, where he has also ended his brilliant playing career, during which he scored 244 goals in 394 first league matches. Skoblar played 32 matches for the Yugoslav national team and scored 11 goals. He also participated at the World Cup in Chile in 1962, at which Yugoslavia has won the fourth place. After the completion of his active career, Josip turned to coaching - he coached Rijeka, Hajduk, HSV, Čelik, Dinamo, Real Valladolid, Orijent, Istra, Portuguese Famalição, Zagreb, Nimes, Zadarcommerce, and he was also the head coach of the Lebanon national football team.
Five years of sports television Sports Television (SPTV), as television of all the national sports federations, Olympic and non-Olympic sports in Croatia, celebrated its fifth birthday on April 4th. In five years of operation, under the guidance of Editor-in-chief Jura Ozmec and director Peter Čavlović, SPTV did more than 43,000 hours of interesting, diverse and interactive sports content. In 2012, SPTV managed to provide common broadcasting of the entire Olympic program in London in 2012. This experience of then very young television shows that with its professionalism, quality of work and business and technological base, SPTV can be a reliable partner in demanding projects such as the Olympic Games. It was recognized by the European Olympic Committees (EOC), which awarded the SPTV in 2015 the television rights to broadcast the first European Games in Baku. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognized SPTV’s work as well and accepts it as a pilot project of the Olympic Channel, which should start broadcasting by the end of this this year. The last analysis of the global company AGB Nielsen, engaged in television audience management, confirmed that the results of SPTV rating are extraordinary. In the first quarter of 2016, on the ladder with more than 200 channels, available in Croatia available on all the platforms, SPTV took the high 14th place - seven places higher than in 2015 when it was in the 23rd place. According to the results of this research, SPTV is definitely the most watched sports channel in Croatia, leaving thus the Sportklub and Eurosport 2 far behind.
