In the new mandate period, world judo will be again led by the (re-elected) President Marius L. Vizer. The Head of the Croatian judo and Vice President of the NOC of Croatia thus continues participating in important working bodies of the IJF. For the purposes of promoting judo as an Olympic martial art sport in Croatia and the world, this year she became Editor-in-Chief of the international multidisciplinary journal The Arts and Sciences of Judo, aimed at connecting the scientific judo community with judokas around the world. At the same time, Sanda Čorak also helped in creation and launching of the project Judo in schools, in order to get more elementary school children involved in regular judo training and become more confident as individuals and learn social skills through the organization of major competitions in Croatia. Besides preparing strategic documents in tourism and sport, Sanda Čorak also headed the working group for drafting the first national document on the development of sports in Croatia (the National Sports Program 2019 - 2026). She has already shown her knowledge and experience as a member of the IJF Gender Equality Commission, the Scientific Committee and the Croatian Olympic Committee’s Gender Equality in Sport Commission. Project "Women’s Voice in Sport" presented The project "Women’s Voice in Sport" was presented to the public in early June during the ceremony held at Zagreb's hotel Westin. This Project, which will run until the end of 2022, is jointly organized by the NOC of Croatia, the Agency for Electronic Media, the Office for Gender Equality of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Ombudswoman for Gender Equality and the Croatian Paralympic Committee, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Media and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport. "Based on its experiences and research, the Croatian Olympic Committee entered the Project with knowledge of the need to educate female athletes and especially sport staff. That is why the Project “Women’s Voice in Sport” has an important task - media literacy of female athletes for media appearances and publications in print, electronic and new media, i.e., the social networks. It should be noted that in the total amount of information in electronic and print media, women’s sport is underrepresented", said the Vice President of the Croatian Olympic Committee Morana Paliković Gruden. After the competition for production of TV and radio videos presenting our Olympians, the Agency for Electronic Media made 16 videos. All media will broadcast them free of charge. Female athletes, table tennis player Anđela Mužinić and marathon runner Matea Parlov Koštro, also spoke about their placement at the Olympic and Paralympic Games. At the end of the ceremony - as a special guest - the member of the International Olympic Committee and former Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović also said a couple of words.
