Visoka poslovna škola PAR s dopusnicom Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i sporta, osim stručnog studija poslovnog upravljanja, organizira stručne seminare, međunarodne skupove, konferencije i savjetovanja. Model dvojnog obrazovanja (što osobito odgovara športašima s velikim pripremnim i natjecateljskim obvezama, a koji je općeprihvaćen u Europi, te povezivost studija, prakse i međunarodne suradnje koju PAR razvija), razlozi su dobrog odaziva športaša osobito s područja Primorskogoranske županije. Među diplomiranim prvostupnicima je četverostruki olimpijac, nositelj zlatnog vaterpolskog odličja na OI u Londonu 2012. Samir Barač te trostruka olimpijka, alpska skijašica Ana Jelušić, a među današnjim studentima su vatepolisti VK Primorje i reprezentativci Ivan Krapić, Sandro Sukno i Anđelo Šetka, nogometaši NK Rijeka Luka Marić, Ivan Vargić, Ivan Mance i Diego Živulić, rukometaši, tenisači...

2. Olimpijske igre mladih Nanjing 2014.

U glavnom gradu kineske provincije Jiangsu - Nanjingu - u kolovozu ove godine održat će se 2. Olimpijske igre mladih. Igre koje će trajati od 16. do 28. kolovoza okupit će oko 3600 športaša u dobi od 15 do 18 godina. Među njima bit će i hrvatska olimpijska delegacija mladih športaša. Do početka lipnja uspjelo se je kvalificirati 17 športaša u devet športova: boksači Luka Prtenjača (-69kg), Luka Plantić (-75kg) i Toni Filipi (-91kg), Maja Pavlinić u badmintonu, Pavle Živanović (Byte CII) u jedrenju, Brigita Matić (do 78kg) i Lovro Kovač (do 81kg) u judu, Petar Fileš u mačevanju, Tomislav Pucar i Lea Rakovac u stol-

Sports Museum in Zagreb the exhibition of rare collectors' stamps relating to the Olympism. On that occasion, the Croatian Olympic Academy made a commemorative stamp, commemorative postcards and picture-postcards, posters and organized workshops for students and young athletes. The central celebration was organized in the presence of many notables of Croatian sports at the 7th Festival of Universal Sports School in the sportsrecreational center Mladost in Zagreb, where the students of elementary and high schools from all the counties were demonstrating their youthful excellence in many disciplines and sports. For the coordinator of activities, former Olympian Danira Bilic (today project manager of Olympic education and culture in the Croatian Olympic Academy) these events represented a part of the strategy of the Olympic education, undoubtedly necessary in order to help the future generations understand that sports and success in life can be based only on the same ethic principles of Olympism on which the world Olympic movement is based for more than a century. 2. Youth Olympic Games Nanjing 2014 The second Youth Olympic Games will be held In the capital of the Chinese province of Jiangsu - Nanjing - in August this year. The Games that will last from August 16th- 28th and they will bring together approximately 3,600 athletes aged 15 to 18. Among them there will be also the Croatian Olympic delegation of young athletes. By early June there were 17 athletes that managed to qualify in nine sports: boxers Luke Prtenjaca (-69kg), Luke Plantic (-75kg) and Toni Filipi (-91kg), Maja Pavlinic in badminton, Pavle Zivanovic (Byte CII) in sailing, Brigita Matic (up to 78kg) and Lovro Kovac (81kg) in judo, Peter Files in fencing, Tomislav Pucar and Lea Rakovac in table tennis, Borna Petanjek (10m air rifle) and Ivan Babic (10m air rifle) in shooting, and Ivana Babic (up to 55kg) and Matea Jelic (up to 63kg) in taekwondo. One quote was re-allocated to Croatian sports for male rowing team and women's single, and the final decision shall be made by the Croatian Rowing Federation based on the achievements of rowers at one of the following events. The program of Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing includes 29 sports: athletics, badminton, cycling, gymnastics, weightlifting, wrestling, golf, sailing, judo, kayaking and canoeing, equestrian sports (show jumping), 3x3 basketball, boxing, diving, swimming, archery, fencing, football, handball, field hockey, modern pentathlon, rowing, rugby 7, archery, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, triathlon and beach volleyball. According to the estimates of the COC’s office for Olympic program, around 30 young Croatian athletes could qualify for the Youth Olympic Games Nanjing 2014. Let us remember that at the first Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010 there were 25 Croatian competitors, and that the first Croatian medal – the golden one – was won by the swimmer Ivan Capan. Silver medal was brought by a young basketball team in 3x3 basketball – Matte Buovac Stipe Krstanovic, Marko Ramljak and Tomislav Grubisic. The judoist Barbara Matic, today a potential "B" candidate for the Olympics in Rio in 2016, brought from these Olympics two bronze medals - one in singles and second in team competition. IOC's Olympic scholarschips awarded to the skiers Filip and Andreja After the scholarship for participating at the Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014, where they performed for the first time and showed a great sports potential, the Croatian Olympians, young alpine skiers Filip Zubcic and Andrea Komsic, were awarded the new, so-called "transitional" scholarship (Winter Interim Scholarships for Athletes) of the continental program of support to excellent and top athletes (Continental Athlete Support Programme).
