To zahtjevno izdavačko djelo, rezultat je čvrste suradnje s nacionalnim športskim savezima, županijskim športskim zajednicama i drugim partnerima Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora. Govoreći u ime izdavača ARS Media iz Zagreba čiji je direktor, Kruno Sabolić zahvalio se na potpori HOO-a ovom projektu i naglasio da je svaki podatak u Almanahu na određeni način novi, jer je svaki novi rezultat hrvatskog športaša novi uspjeh hrvatskog športa.
Međunarodni forum MOO I UN: Šport za mir i razvoj U organizaciji Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora (MOO) i Ujedinjenih naroda (UN) u Ženevi (Švicarska) je 10. i 11. svibnja 2011. godine održan 2. Međunarodni forum o športu za mir i razvoj. Forum, kojem su predsjedavali predsjednik MOO-a Jacques Rogge i glavni tajnik UN-a Ban Ki-moon, okupio je brojne stručnjake iz područja športa i razvoja društva, uključujući i predstavnike nacionalnih vlada, humanitarnih organizacija i sveučilišta, njih sveukupno 400. Središnja rasprava vođena je o temama kako pozicionirati šport kao katalizator za ostvarivanje milenijskih ciljeva razvoja UN-a, unaprijediti mirovne i integracijske programe, osnažiti utjecaj mladih i ulogu velikih športskih događanja kao što su Olimpijske igre u stvaranju civilizacijske baštine, promicati kulturu mira i niz drugih tema od osobite važnosti za razvoj današnjeg društva. Među brojnim govornicima koji su iznijeli svoje mišljenje i prijedloge bili su stalni predstavnik MOO-a pri UN i predsjednik Komisije za međunarodnu suradnju MOO-a Mario Pescante, predsjednik Organizacijskog odbora OI Rio 2016. Carlos Nuzman, predsjednik Organizacijskog odbora ZOI Soči 2014. Dmitrij Černišenko te posebni savjetnik glavnog tajnika UN-a za šport za razvoj i mir Wilfried Lemke. U radu Foruma sudjelovala je hrvatska predstavnica Danira Bilić, voditeljica i koordinatorica Odbora za promicanje tekovina olimpizma, olimpijskog pokreta i znanstvenih dostignuća u športu Hrvatske olimpijske akademije (HOA).
The International IOC and UN forum: Sports for Peace and Development Organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the United Nations (UN) in Geneva (Switzerland) on May 10th and 11th, 2011, the Second International Forum on Sports for Peace and Development was held. The Forum, chaired by IOC’s president Jacques Rogge and the UN Secretary -General Ban Ki-moon, brought together numerous experts in the field of sports and society development, including representatives of national governments, humanitarian organizations and universities, a total of 400. The central discussions were about positioning sports as a catalyst for achieving the Millennium Development Goals of the UN, promoting peace and integration programs, strengthening the influence of youth and the role of major sporting events - such as the Olympic Games - in the creation of civilization heritage, promoting the peace culture and other topics of particular importance for the development of today's society. Among many speakers who expressed their opinions and suggestions, there were also the permanent representative of the IOC at the UN and president of the Commission for IOC’s international cooperation Mario Pescante, President of the Organizing Committee of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio Carlos Nuzman, President of the Organizing Committee of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi Dmitry Chernyshenko and special adviser to the UN Secretary-General for Sports, development and peace Wilfried Lemke. The Croatian representative Danira Bilic, the head and coordinator of the Committee to promote the achievements of Olympism, the Olympic Movement and scientific achievements in the sports at the Croatian Olympic Academy (HOA) also participated on the forum.
