• Led Zeppelin didn’t always go by that name. When the band originally formed they branded themselves as the New Yardbirds. • Their debut album, Led Zeppelin I, was recorded in less than 30 hours of studio time, a whirlwind marathon. • Although they’ve amassed massive popularity and legacy, the band never produced a top-charting single. Rather than focusing on one hit song, the band wanted fans to enjoy their albums in full, so they focused more on overall experience and musicality. • Many of Led Zeppelin’s songs include references to works by author J.R.R.

Tolkien, including The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. • The band often rented out entire hotels during their tours and gained a lessthan-welcome reputation for trashing several of them in riotous afterparties, leading to the band being banned from several establishments.

Berklee-trained arranger/conductor Brent Havens has written music for orchestras, feature films, and virtually every aspect of television. His TV work includes movies for networks ABC, CBS, and ABC Family Channel Network; commercials; sports music for networks such as ESPN; and even cartoons. He recently completed the score for the film Quo Vadis, a Premier Pictures remake of the 1956 gladiator film. Brent worked with the Doobie Brothers and the Milwaukee Symphony, arranging and conducting the combined group for Harley Davidson’s 100th Anniversary Birthday Party Finale attended by more than 150,000 fans. In 2013, he joined with the Baltimore Symphony and the NFL's Baltimore Ravens to arrange and produce the music for the Thanksgiving Day halftime show between the Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers, adapting both classical music and rock songs into a single four-minute show. He has collaborated with some of the world's greatest orchestras, including the

Royal Philharmonic and the BBC Concert Orchestra in London; the CBSO in Birmingham, England; the Malaysian Philharmonic; Orchestra of Opera North in Leeds, England; orchestras in Houston, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Nashville; and countless others. Brent is arranger/guest conductor for all of the symphonic rock programs for Windborne Music.

Randy Jackson is the lead singer/guitarist for the rock band Zebra. His first foray into recording success began with the self-titled Zebra debut album, released on Atlantic Records in 1983. Critically acclaimed for its lush rock sounds, due in large part to Randy's searing lead vocals and soaring guitar leads, the album sold 75,000 copies the first week. "Who's Behind the Door" and "Tell Me What You Want," written by Randy, received serious notice in the press, and helped, almost instantly, to form legions of Zebra fans. The latest Zebra release, Zebra IV, was also produced and engineered by Randy. In 1989, Randy toured as keyboardist, guitarist, and backing vocalist, with the original, reunited Jefferson Airplane, the group’s last tour together. He has also worked extensively in the area of musical software and hardware development.
