Certified Home Health Aide Training and English as a Second Language (ESL) Program

No-cost Opportunity Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) Training and English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is a no-cost program. HHA is designed to provide beginners and/or low intermediate English language learners with the knowledge, practical skills, assist patients in the activities of daily living, provide basic routine care. English language skills required to become Certified HHA. These activities include: • Assistance with eating • Hygiene: brushing teeth, showering, ect. • Administering medications • Changing dressings and bandages • Moderating temperature and pulse rate C

HHAs can work in: • Private homes • Continuing care facilities • Nursing homes and assisted living centers Course hours include 85 classroom hours which includes 1 hour study skills, plus 5 hours of CPR training. Textbook is included in tuition. Mon - Sat 9:00am to 5:00pm 9/9/-10/22/24 H2011-01-FA24 30 sessions 206 hrs.
