HOFSTRA PARENT FUND LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE
In addition to endowing a scholarship for deserving Hofstra students, we are co-chairs of the Parent Fund Leadership Committee. We choose to be involved and to give back because we’re proud to see how much our children have grown due to their Hofstra education and we want to show our thanks for all the University has done for Dominic and Samantha and their classmates.

2014-2015 Honor Roll of Donors
For more information on how you can become involved with the Hofstra Parent Fund Leadership Committee, please contact Don Rudolph at 516-463-5542 or don.rudolph@hofstra.edu.
As parents of two children who graduated from Hofstra (son Dominic, Class of 2008, and daughter Samantha, Class of 2014, who is pursuing a master’s degree at the School of Education) and because of our family’s Italian American ancestry, we established in 2006 an endowed scholarship that provides financial assistance to a student engaged in the study of Italian language, culture, and history or Italian American history, and who demonstrates high academic ability and/or financial need. This scholarship is awarded by the Office of Financial Aid upon the recommendation of the dean of Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, with input from the Queensboro UNICO Distinguished Professor of Italian American Studies in consultation with faculty teaching Italian and Italian American studies.
