Fourth Annual Conference on Real Estate This conference, sponsored by the Breslin Center for Real Estate Studies and the Zarb School of Business, focused on making investments in real estate in the current economic environment. A group of industry experts and business professionals were invited to share their latest assessments of the market, business models and the strategies they used in their operations. Opportunities, financial risk and exit strategies, including the anatomy of a real estate auction process, were presented.

Capital One Entrepreneurial Lecture Series: Larry Roman Presents “Leveraging Knowledge Gained at the Zarb School to Devise Entrepreneurial Solutions” Hofstra alumnus Larry Roman (B.B.A. ’77) is chief executive officer of WDF Inc., one of the nation’s leading plumbing, HVAC contracting and specialty general contracting companies. This company’s projects include the Freedom Tower, the Time Warner Building, Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center, Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Seven World Trade Center and Goldman Sachs’ lower Manhattan headquarters.
