WE ARE THE FOURTH BEST ARTS DISTRICT in the United States! And yes, we hope to move up next year to No. 1. I arrived in Milwaukee in 2015 and quickly fell in love with the Historic Third Ward. There is a deep sense of history here, as well as a sense of excitement and vibrancy in our little part of the city. The Historic Third Ward Association (HTWA) has two roles. The first is to let everyone know of our awesomeness by promoting our theatres, galleries, boutiques, bars, restaurants and more. The second role is to support all the various sectors that live, work and play here. Becoming a member of the HTWA helps us undertake our work. You help by telling us your thoughts and suggestions. In turn, we keep you informed about what’s happening — or might be happening. Each and every member helps us keep the Historic Third Ward a special and vibrant place. Creativity - Cuisine - Culture.
