ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT Increased awareness of environmental responsibility and a slow economy is forcing us to be more aware of the impact of environmental waste, and therefore opening our eyes to new possibilities around us. Luxecycling is the perfect opportunity for each and every one of us to make a difference to the global epidemic we are faced with. Zoe prides herself on being an ambassador for "eco friendly production" and ensures that this is a major part of her work ethic. "Being eco-friendly is so important. Luxecycling saves new resources to make new furniture, and keeps perfectly viable pieces out of landfill." Nothing is wasted at Muck N Brass. As I venture out into the workshop, an Aladdin’s cave of vintage treasures, I see racks of leftover wallpaper and wrapping paper waiting in the wings for a possible future project. As well as this, Zoe goes out of her way to be eco minded by offering an exchange service, whereby new and previous customers can bring along old and unwanted furniture in exchange for newly luxecycled pieces.
